A lot of Vegetarian Cookbooks make the claim that the recipes can be made in 30 minutes but few deliver on the promises. The authors of this vegan cookbook, Mark Reinfeld and Jennifer Murray’s have delivered with integrity their new The 30 Minute Vegan cookbook. Every recipe they say takes 30 minutes does. Those that don’t they have a special section for them titled “if you have more time”.
You have probably read in many vegetarian cookbooks “your child will love this” and thought to yourself..”yeah right.” But with Mark and Jennifers fabulous variety of plant based recipes, you will be fueling your family with life giving foods…one ingredient at a time. It will empower you with recipes that all your family will eat. Recipes like Pasta Florentine, Macadamia Nut-Crusted Tofu, Shiitake-Sea Veggie Chowder, Fajitas Bonitas and Coconut-Lime Banana Bread have been know to become family’s favorites.
When you read this book you get the feeling that the authors have put their whole heart and soul into designing the food and making sure each recipe was accurate to insure a successful and satisfying experience. The Quinoa Kitchari and the Tempeh “Bacon” are both delicious!
The very first thing I love to do when I buy vegetarian cookbooks is to make myself a cup of chai, grab the book and go lay on the sofa with pen and paper in hand and spend a relaxing hour or so flicking through the recipes, looking at the picture and making a list of all the recipes I want to try first. When you buy this vegetarian cookbook I can assure you will enjoy it because these guys really know how to put together great recipes.
There are no funky ingredients or weird instructions in this vegetarian cookbook. Instead you will find great, healthy, flavorful recipes. It’s my opinion, of all the vegetarian cookbooks in the world, this would have to be hands down the best, easy to follow and easy to execute. There are lots of good and not so good vegetarian cookbooks out there, but this one is outstanding and remains my favorite for fast healthy vegan food!!! This book is a gift to the world.
