Citation for claim that vegans are better chefs: “Vegans are confident cooks, with 9 out of 10 vegans feeling confident about preparing a meal from scratch.” “Households containing a vegan have, on average, 12 vegetarian cookbooks, compared to the UK household average of 8. UK vegans are also 10 times more likely to source recipes from the internet.” (I assume UK and US vegans are fairly similar.) source: http://www.imaner.net/panel/results6.htm Vegan Nutrition http://www.veganhealth.org/ http://www.vegansociety.com/html/food/nutrition/ http://www.vrg.org/nutrition/

I’ve been a vegetarian for eight months now and I’ve been trying to go vegan for a few weeks but I’m living on campus at my university and they really don’t have many vegan options. I’m thinking I might just wait until I get a place off campus so I have the option of cooking.

Hi, I am not a vegan yet but am thinking about going vegan. Like joethemusician says it does take time 2 make the transition from 1 thing 2 another.

I became vegetarian because I needed 2 loose weight. Then I went 2 a lecture with Bjørn Lomborg , and I was inspired by him 2 go vegetarian. I mean, have U seen this guy? He is so slim and his teint is so fantastic that it was enough 4 me 2 B convinced 2 go vegetarian.

The good thing is he is a vegetarian himself.

When I do mine I intend to invoke some comedy. I don’t know if you have ever seen Zipster08′s character Loco Mama and her “cooking” shows but she fails every time. I think with some comedy and fancy editing the videos would be more enjoyable and would further educate the audience to try vegan recipies. The misconception is all we eat is salad. Hopefully channels like yours and mine can continue to educate and inform.

Thanks!

Great video! Two of my FAVVVVORITES are Sarah Kramer’s “how it all vegan” and PETA’s “please don’t eat the animals”. The Peta one has been around for a lonnng time. Think it is around $19 or $20 now and was $10 or $11 when I got it, but like Kramer’s cookbook, every single thing I have made out of it has be wonderful!

Had been curious about the vegan family cookbook. Thanks for the review. :o )
